What Pro features am I using?

AppScreens lets you try most features before purchasing a plan, so you can explore the platform before subscribing.

If you are using AppScreens for free and your project includes any Pro features, you will see:

  • an AppScreens watermark across your screenshots in the designer

  • a PRO badge in the top toolbar

This means you will not be able to export your screenshots until any Pro features in use have been removed or adjusted.

To avoid this, we recommend starting with one of our free templates and checking which features are included before making further changes.

What counts as a Pro feature?

The following are Pro features in AppScreens:

  • creating more than 5 screenshots in a project

  • saving more than 1 project to your account

  • using all iOS and Android device sizes

  • creating custom sizes

  • uploading custom fonts

  • using automatic App Store upload

  • using bulk screenshot upload

  • using advanced dynamic frames such as dynamic, clay, and 3D

  • using panoramic backgrounds or custom background images

  • creating landscape screenshots

  • localising and translating your project into over 80 languages

  • adding more than 1 layer, 1 device, or 1 title per screenshot

  • adding custom images to screenshots

  • rotating, styling, or changing your device type

How to see what Pro features you're using

Step 1

Click the PRO button in the top toolbar of your project.

Step 2

Click See what features on this project require Pro.

Step 3

You will see a list of the Pro features currently being used in your project that looks like the below.

Work through the list and adjust each item if you want to return the project to the free version.

For example:

  • Project: More than 5 screenshots

Delete the 6th, 7th, 8th, and any additional screenshots so the project contains only 5 screenshots.

  • Screenshot 1: Device rotated

Open Screenshot 1 and set the device rotation back to 0.

  • Screenshot 2: Device type not β€œFlat Device Mockup”

Change the device type on Screenshot 2 to Flat Device Mockup.

Good to know

If your project is using even one Pro feature, the project will still show the watermark and you will not be able to export until that Pro feature has been removed.
