How do I continue an element across multiple screenshots?
Use Continue on Screen when you want an element to flow from one screenshot into another.
This is useful for connected screenshot designs, where an image, shape, device, title or decorative element starts on one screenshot and continues onto the next.
For example, you can continue:
a large shape or blob
a doodle, arrow or callout
a device mockup
a title or text element
a visual detail that should span multiple screenshots
How Continue on Screen works
Continue on Screen calculates where the element should appear on another screenshot based on its current position.
For example, if part of an element sits off the edge of one screenshot, AppScreens can place the continued element in the correct position on another screenshot.
This helps create a connected design without manually working out the position yourself.
Supported elements
You can use Continue on Screen with:
Title elements
Image elements
Shape elements
Device elements
Continue an element onto another screenshot
To continue an element:
Move the element so it sits partly off the edge of the screenshot.
Right-click the element.
Click Continue on Screen X.
AppScreens adds the continued element to that screenshot.
After the element has been added, you can edit it like any other element.
When should I use this?
Use Continue on Screen when an individual element needs to appear connected across screenshots.
If you want one background to flow across your whole screenshot set, use a panoramic background instead.
