What keyboard shortcuts are available in the designer?
Keyboard shortcuts help you work faster in the AppScreens designer.
You can use shortcuts to undo changes, copy and paste elements, duplicate or delete elements, enter drag-and-drop mode, nudge selected elements, change layer order and zoom.
To view the shortcut list in the designer, click the keyboard icon next to the zoom controls in the bottom-left corner of the canvas.

Select an element first
Most element shortcuts work on the selected element.
For example, before copying, duplicating, deleting, nudging or changing layer order, click the element you want to edit.
If the element is hard to select on the canvas, open Layouts & Elements and select it from there.
Use shortcuts with drag-and-drop
You can use ⌘ + K to enter drag-and-drop mode.
In drag-and-drop mode, you can move, resize or rotate elements on the canvas. You can also nudge the selected element with the arrow keys.
When you are finished, press Enter, click Save positions, or click the green tick.
Use shortcuts to move elements more precisely
After selecting an element, use the arrow keys to nudge it into position.
Use ⇧ + Arrow keys to nudge faster.
This is useful when an element is almost in the right place and you only need a small adjustment.
Use shortcuts to change layer order
Use ⌘ + [ and ⌘ + ] to move the selected element backward or forward in the stack order.
This changes whether the element appears in front of or behind other elements.
Windows and other keyboards
Shortcut keys can differ depending on your operating system and keyboard.
Use the keyboard icon in the bottom-left of the designer to check the shortcuts available for your device.
